Chalet Tropical is the closest available home to Playa Arco, one of the area’s most notable beaches. The property borders a national park, so the surrounding jungle teems with monkeys in the towering trees and the sound of waves carries from dawn to dusk. It is a place where the natural setting is the main event.

The villa was designed with European elegance and built with local Costa Rican craftsmanship. Three bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom. The master has a king bed, sea views, motorized blackout shades, an en-suite bathroom, and an outdoor rain shower. The second bedroom, a king suite, has its own bathroom just outside the entrance. The third bedroom has two queen beds, an en-suite bathroom, and comfortably sleeps four — a practical setup for families.

Outside, the private pool is lined with sun loungers and looks out toward the ocean. A BBQ area is tucked into the surrounding greenery, and an outdoor shower, outdoor sink, and dining area for eight round out the outdoor spaces. The garden, lush and well-kept, sits right on the edge of the national park.

Inside, the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, blender, and coffee maker. Starlink internet provides reliable high-speed connectivity. Air conditioning with split units runs throughout, along with ceiling fans. An EV charger is available for electric vehicles. Free parking on premises, and long-term stays are welcome.
