Manuel Antonio is about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from San José. You can rent a car, take a domestic flight to Quepos (20 minutes), or arrange a private transfer through our concierge service.

Do I need a rental car?

While a rental car gives you flexibility to explore, it is not essential. We can arrange airport transfers, and many restaurants and beaches are within a short taxi or ride-share trip.

What is the best time to visit?

Costa Rica’s dry season (December through April) is the most popular time. However, the green season (May through November) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower rates.
