About Casa del Arroyo
Casa del Arroyo is a modern nature retreat set on a private 13.6-acre (5.5-hectare) estate minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park and about 1.5 miles from Quepos and Marina Pez Vela. The design-forward villa floats above the greenery on expansive wooden decks, with an infinity-edge plunge pool framed by jungle views and birdsong and a main terrace overlooking the forest canopy and the namesake creek.
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows fill the air-conditioned, open-concept living area with light and open onto the gardens and forest. A contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances and a gas range. Two en-suite master suites each have a private bathroom, ample closet space, and direct balcony access; the primary suite overlooks the pool and the second sits in the opposite wing for added privacy. A queen-size air mattress accommodates one additional adult or two children (up to 5 guests total).
Private trails wind through fruit trees and native vegetation frequented by titi and capuchin monkeys, howlers, deer, toucans, and scarlet macaws. Guests enjoy complimentary premium access to Blue Horizon’s beach club at Espadilla (about two miles away; transport not included), plus an optional private chef, spa treatments, yoga, private driver, and a full menu of adventures arranged through the Blue Horizon concierge.
Good to know: maximum occupancy is 5 guests. To protect the home, only chefs employed by Blue Horizon may work in the kitchen; outside chefs and catering staff are not permitted (private in-house chef dining can be arranged for an additional cost). A replacement fee of $20 per item applies to lost beach/pool towels or rain umbrellas.
