About Casa Castillo

Casa Castillo is a secluded 6-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom villa tucked into the hills of Manuel Antonio, surrounded by tropical jungle with views stretching across Manuel Antonio National Park and the Pacific Ocean. The 6,500+ square foot home was originally designed by artist Starla Landon and renovated in 2021, blending Costa Rican craftsmanship with updated modern amenities.

Each of the six bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and views of the tropical landscape. The villa is a magnet for wildlife — capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, and toucans visit daily. From August through December, humpback whales can sometimes be spotted from the upper terrace.

The private pool overlooks the jungle canopy, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a gas grill for outdoor cooking. A 10-minute walk brings you to the center of Manuel Antonio with its restaurants, shops, galleries, pharmacy, and bank. Manuel Antonio Beach is a 10-minute drive away.

The property is reached via a private steep road (4x4 required) or a staircase with 105 steps, with parking for up to three vehicles. A dedicated concierge can arrange airport transfers, grocery stocking, private chef services, and tours. The property accommodates up to 12 guests. Daily housekeeping is included.
